Mick Pierce

A powerful goofy footer with a great sense of the tube and a lover of big waves, Mick Pierce has attained genuine iconic status on the Mornington Peninsula.

From his early days with the Suicide Savages, then to being the number 1 surfer for George Rice (see the HISTORY page), through to his early involvement with the Peninsula Surfriders Club, through his days coaching footy, Much has had a lifetime of surfing achievement.  Mick Pierce still makes quality surfboards from his base near Rye.
